What is a Suppression?

A suppression is what happens when Hello Market decides that one of the entries (data records) in your mailing list should not be included and that entry is "suppressed", which means it is removed from the data list and will not be mailed.

Suppressions are normally run during data cleaning and data records can be suppressed for a few different reasons including: duplication, missing elements, or matching a stop file/list.
