How to Create a Brochure or Leaflet - In 5 Easy Steps.

Looking to make the right first impression? A professional printed brochure is the perfect way to introduce your business to potential customers or prospective clients.

In this article, we’ll show you how to make professional brochures & leaflets using Hello Market.

1. Choosing a template

Once you’ve created your account, head to ‘Your Dashboard’ at the top of the homepage and click ‘create a new campaign’ under the welcome message.

If you have existing artwork, you can choose a blank template and get started.

Or, if you need a little inspiration, head to the Hello Market template library and browse our pre-designed mailings.

Use the filters on the left hand side to refine by format, sector and colour palette. Once you find a design you like, click to start editing.

Before you proceed, you can decide whether the interior of your chosen design should be treated as separate pages or a single expansive spread.

2. Adding or Amending Artwork

Whether using a template or starting blank, you can use the creative editor to finalise the design of your brochure.

If you have existing artwork, use the background or image tools on the left to choose your JPG PNG or PDF file and upload.

With a template, click any of the pre-filled areas and amend and update images accordingly.

3. Editing Your Message & Mailing

To add text, use the text tool on the left. You can type directly into Hello Market or paste from another source, just be sure to double-check the formatting before finalising your brochure design. From this window, you can add personalised elements powered by your mailing list data.

Once you’re happy with the cover, it’s time to finalise the rest of the brochure. Use the pages icon on the left to switch to the inner section.

When you switch to an interior page, you’ll have the option to choose from a pre-designed page layout or start from scratch.

Again, upload or amend artwork on these pages and use the text tool to add your copy and personalisation.

4. Uploading Your Mailing List

Once the design is finalised, add your mailing list data. Using the data tool on the left, type in your data manually or upload a file (.csv / .xls / .xlsx). When uploading a mailing list, you can review and amend how Hello Market tags your data.

Data uploaded, you can preview a 3D render of the finished mailing including any personalised elements you’ve added.

5. Printing & Sending Your Brochure

Once happy, click ‘finished’ and complete the checkout process. Here, you can upgrade postage, add non personalised copies and download a PDF proof of your mailing.

Once confirmed, we’ll print your brochures and deliver direct to your recipients.
